New Poll: Parker Ties for First; Waring Lead Collapses; Arpaio Endorses Parker

Parker Surges While Waring’s Poll Numbers Plummet

Friends,
Our common sense campaign to restore faith in America is well underway.  Just a few weeks ago I announced my candidacy for Congress.  I am proud to have the endorsements of my good friends Sheriff Joe Arpaio and Phoenix City Councilman Sal DiCiccio and a growing list of others.  I have spent every day working the phones and talking to voters about bringing America back to the conservative ideals of limited government, personal responsibility, and stopping Nancy Pelosi and her socialist agenda.
Two weeks ago, one of my opponents Jim Waring had his pollster release the results of their internal polling.  This poll claimed Waring was in the lead with fifty percent of the vote.  In the days and weeks since he released his claim, my campaign conducted a scientific poll which shows the race has already changed dramatically, and Jim has DROPPED an astounding 33 points!
I believe there are two reasons for this.  First and foremost, my campaign is kicking into high gear.  Everyday we are out talking to voters about restoring freedom and responsibility to our country, and this message is clearly resonating with voters.  Plus we’ve been raising money at an astonishing pace and recruiting volunteers from all over the district.
The second reason is that former Vice President Dan Quayle announced that his 33 year old son was entering the race and he will enjoy the name ID that his dad helped build.
Here are the actual results from our poll:
Jim Waring          17%  (-33%)
Vernon Parker  16%
Ben Quayle         15%
Pam Gorman     5%
Sam Crump         2%
Ed Winkler          1%
Paulina Morris   1%
Undecided          42%
*The poll conducted 1013 interviews and has a margin of error of 3.06%.
But make no mistake this is going to be close, and that’s why I need your help.  Like most campaigns, I need more volunteers and more donations.  If you want to get involved and work in our volunteer center please click here.  If you are financially able, I would be honored if you would invest in my candidacy by making a financial contribution by clicking here.
I know that by all of us working together we can restore faith in America again.
Thank you,
Vernon Parker

P.S.  I look forward to seeing you on the campaign trail and please get involved, join the team, and together we will restore faith in America.

Shame on Vernon Parker - while I believe that he is a man of God as he claims, lying about a "scientific poll" is unacceptable. What was actually conducted was a push poll which is totally UNscientific. Waring would have had to kill someone to drop that many points (assuming Waring's poll was accurate)
Anyone involved in politics knows that you can get your desired results from conducting a poll with leading questions - does he think we're that gullible?
